Washington Wine Institute Board Members

The WWI is governed by a nine member Board of Directors elected by member wineries. Our Board of Directors are:

    President - Marty ClubbL'Ecole No. 41
    L'Ecole N° 41 is a second generation, family-owned artisan winery located in the historic Frenchtown School depicted on our label. Founded in 1983, we are the third oldest winery in the Walla Walla Valley. We have become one of the most prominent and visible Walla Walla Valley wineries with national and international distribution.

    Vice President - Shylah AlfonsoPomum Cellars
    Pomum Cellars is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Javier and Shylah Alfonso. Originally from the famed Ribera del Duero region in Spain, winemaker Javier Alfonso is determined to showcase a true expression of wine grown in the unique viticultural areas in Washington State. We feel that these truly handcrafted wines are something special! We hope you agree.

    Treasurer - Gaye McNuttCadence Winery
    In the winemaking traditions of the Bordeaux region, this Seattle winery produces limited quantities of fine blended red wines.

    Julie GriebTreveri Cellars
    Julie and Juergen Grieb started Treveri Sparkling Wine House in 2010. Treveri produces only Methode Champenoise sparkling wines, all handcrafted by our Winemakers, which makes Treveri a true family winery. Julie Grieb is the General Manager and Owner and their son Christian is Winemaker and Senior VP of Sales along with Katie his wife who is Senior VP of Marketing. Since opening five years ago, Treveri has made its way around the globe, which includes being poured at the US Department of State in Washington DC.

    Craig LeutholdMaryhill Winery
    Opened in 2001, the family-run Maryhill Winery has been carefully grown into one of the largest and most-visited wineries in Washington state, and a true destination for exceptional wines, scenic views and live summer music.

    Greg LipskerBarrister Winery
    Barrister Winery, a Spokane Washington winery, specializes in the production of limited quantities of Bordeaux varietal wines and Syrah.

    Chateau Ste. Michelle is Washington state's founding winery featuring award-winning wines and an unparalleled tasting experience at our historic chateau and grounds near Seattle.

    Tsillan Cellars Winery & Vineyards is the crown jewel of the vibrant and rapidly growing Lake Chelan wine tourism scene.

    Mike ConwayLatah Creek Wine Cellars
    Latah Creek Winery has been serving Spokane since 1982 with award-winning Northwest wine. A family owned and operated winery, Latah Creek prides themselves on using traditional winemaking techniques and exceptional fruit, to achieve light and fruity whites and full-bodied reds.
